Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kimberly's mother is Chinese and she was born within Vietnam. Winston Barrett Munn is from the American South. Her parents divorced when she was the age of 2. She was raised by her mother who was in the United States Air Force, as well as her stepfather. While the family left Oklahoma and resided in many areas, she was brought up in Tokyo, Japan. In this period, Olivia appeared in several local theater productions. Later she became an Japanese model. Olivia relocated from her home in the United States back to Los Angeles, where she pursued her dream of becoming an actor. Through a string of small parts, Olivia landed a role when she got the role in the role of Mily Acua on the Hawaii filming of the TV show Beyond the Break 2006 and the role of receptionist for Rob Schneider. She hosts podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut", and "The Daily Nut". Surfing is her passion and she has been practicing it since the TV series Beyond the Break (2006). She also has an black belt in Taekwondo. In the year 2000, at the age of two, of age, her mom got married. While the family moved several times, she was primarily educated at Tokyo, Japan, where her stepfather was stationed by the military. Attended at the University of Oklahoma, where she studied journalism, and minored in Japanese as well as dramatic arts.
