Mary Marg Helgenberger is an American actor. She was born on the 16th of November in 1958. She began her career at the beginning of the 1980s. She was first noticed for playing the role of Siobhan Ryan on the telecast of the daytime soap show Ryan's Hope from 1982 to 1986. Catherine Willows is her most well-known role on CBS's cop procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation 2000-13 and Immortality 2015, the TV film which followed. The role was reprised in its sequel Vegas (2022-present). Helgenberger has also appeared as the character K.C. Koloski as she appeared in the ABC drama China Beach (1988-91) won her an Emmy Award 1990 for Outstanding Actress in Drama Series. The actress is also famous for her performances in the TV show Under the Dome and Intelligence and the films Species (1995) Species II (1998) Erin Brockovich (2000) and Mr. Brooks (2007). In 2007, she earned an undergraduate degree in Art history from Columbia University. She was a part of The View in 2017 and was co-hosting the show through 2021. McCain earned four Daytime Emmy nominations. McCain is also an Daily Mail journalist after her three year stint as a reporter on The View. McCain has also written four books, including Dad John McCain, My Dad John McCain, Dirty Sexy Politics and America You Sexy Bitch.
