Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model as well as an animal rights activist in America. The actress is famous for movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). Growing up in a family of artists living in New York she wished to work in the field of arts. When she was a photographer's assistant, she turned her attention to modeling and acting. The first two films she made were noticed and she received the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned the world to her in addition to being an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. Within just three short films MacGraw became the most popular female box-office star across the globe. In 1972 her hand-footprints and signatures were recorded at Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition to The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv miniseries The Winds of War. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw is married three times.
